Unisa has announced the dates for second-semester registration for all undergraduate qualifications, honours degrees, and postgraduate diplomas with semester modules.

Originally planned for a 10-day period, registration has now been extended to a full three weeks. It’s important to note that there may be a limited number of spaces available in some Unisa courses for the second semester, so it's advisable to complete your registration as soon as possible.

The university confirmed that Semester 2 registration for all undergraduate qualifications, honours degrees, and postgraduate diplomas with semester modules will be open from 28 June to 19 July 2024.

Previously, Unisa indicated that Semester 2 registration will only commence on 8 July 2024, and close on 19 July 2024. The latest announcement gives prospective Unisa students a longer registration period to secure their place at the country’s largest university.

Unisa offers a variety of courses, particularly in Psychology. Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behaviour, encompassing both conscious and unconscious phenomena, including feelings and thoughts. Unisa's Department of Psychology provides programs for both undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications.

To begin your Unisa application, first, you would need to fill in and submit an application form. You can complete the application process using Unisa's application website. Make sure that you meet the application requirements, as well as the requirements to study Psychology at Unisa.

First-time applicants, returning students, and anyone wishing to start a new qualification must apply for admission. Additionally, Unisa applicants who previously applied but were not offered a space, or who accepted an offer but did not register, must reapply. This also applies to students completing a higher certificate or any other program who wish to continue with further undergraduate studies.
